GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

After submitting your application and recommendation forms, call us to schedule an interview.

You must be at least 17 years of age for Cosmetology and 18 years of age for Massage, have a valid birth certificate, and a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. The application process must be completed 30 days prior to the beginning of the next class session you wish to enroll in. Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology students must pass state board exams and be licensed before seeking employment. Massage students must pass the national certification exam to be eligible for a South Dakota Massage License.

CRIME REPORT FOR THE YEARS OF: 2014 – 2016



Reporting statistics from 2014, 2015 & 2016 respectively.

For the report years listed above, we have not had any reported crimes at the Academy on campus, non campus, or public property to include our leased parking lot on Main Street in the following areas to include:

Criminal Offences: Murder/Non-Negligent Manslaughter, negligent manslaughter, forcible sex offences, non-forcible sex offences, rape, fondling, incest, statutory rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, and arson.

Hate Crimes: The following hate offenses manifest evidence of prejudice based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender idenuty, disability or ethnicity, or national origin. Murder/Non-Negligent Manslaughter, forcible sex offences, non-forcible sex offences, rape, fondling, incest, statutory rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, arson, simple assault, larceny-theft, intimidation, destruction/damage/vandalism of property.

VAWA: Domestic Violence, Dating violence, or stalking.

Arrests: Weapons: carrying or possessing illegal weapons; Drug abuse violations; Liquor law violations.

Disciplinary Actions: Weapons: carrying, possessing illegal weapons; Drug abuse violations; Liquor law violations.
